Javerts

Talk about visually uninteresting, just gray and black! Malmö Opera especially - this is almost traditional! Tsk, tsk, I'm disappointed... I should've done barricade Javerts instead...

From left to right:
Sören Lillkung, Åbo Svenska Teater. A very good Javert, and one I really wish could be recorded - I don't think I've ever heard such an operatic take of the part, but it works very well!
Fred Johanson, Malmö Opera. The true highlight of the production: the most book-accurate, impressing Javert I've seen. I've never seen the broken man Javert becomes during his Soliloquy more clearly than here!
Hadley Fraser, London. Uhm. This performance made me laugh out loud, honestly. He just was so furious all the time for no reason! Even Stars was angry. Just... no. Usually, I like Javert's character, but Fraser just made me think "oh no, another Javert scene already"...
