As witnessed by the recent surge of ÅST-inspired Les Mis drawings, I just have to see a brilliant production of something for the last time to start fanarting. Yesterday, I saw the Finnish version of Tanz der Vampire (that I adore) for the last time. I sketched this on the train coming back home. Again, hardly any references used, this is just inspired by our vampires. This is supposed to be the end of the first act, with Herbert leading Alfred into the castle. Quite cute, in the Finnish version at least...
It's watercolour for the reason that I ran out of the paper I use with Copics. Being the hi-fi nerd primadonna artiste I am, I just don't use Copics on any other paper. Had to switch to watercolours, though I'm not wild about them - using them takes me forever and goes wrong every second time. But maybe this was good practice!
Have I mentioned that I love your pictures because just looking at them can make me laugh? And thinking about them afterwards, too? LOLZ at Herbert's spaghetti legs and heart-heart-super-happy-pink-and-love attitude.
