Samuels

I'd like to wish a happy belated birthday to my friend Elina. Online ordering doesn't always work out, her birthday gift disappeared. So, I drew her this.
One of Elina's favourite actors is Samuel Harjanne. Funnily enough, Samuel replaced Rune - my favourite Enjolras so far, if you haven't been keeping up with my rambling - in the ÅST Les Mis. There was some talk about that... Before I met Elina, I had, via a mutual friend, sent her greetings that I shall strangle her if we ever happen to meet. Of course, we're good friends nowadays! (She even drew me Runejolras when I graduated. And Samuel's one of my favourite actors, too, actually.)

So. The first group is Samuel in Les Mis. He was Gavroche in the 1999 Les Mis, then Feuilly and finally Enjolras in the ÅST production.
Next, as a member of Legally Blonde's ensemble - more specifically, the gay European's boyfriend. Except for in Finland, we don't have that stereotype, but plenty of jokes about gay Swedes... I think I should've made the guy somehow more Swedish here, though. Samuel's clothing, then, is a vague reference to what he wore in the early Next to Normal press photos.
The keyboard playing Samuel is from Striking 12. The romantic Samuels are him as Henry from Next to Normal and Ernst from Spring Awakening, with their significant others. Finally, the happy dancing Samuel is him as Ryan Evans from High School Musical. I don't know anything about HSM - but when I saw a photo of him in the role dancing like that, I had to draw him!
