Okay, I know I'm drawing way too much these days, and all I draw is stuff that's not in any way related to my illustration project...
It's a combination of getting rid of my stress, which drawing helps me to do - stuff like where-shall-I-study-after-high-school is getting on my nerves a bit - and just not caring anymore: I've only 16 days of high school left! I admit I skipped my maths homework in favour of colouring this.
So, Sarah and Count von Krolock from Tanz der Vampire.
This is heavily based on one of the promotional photos of the Finnish production - though, in my usual fashion, I worsened it along the way. First of all, I realize I shouldn't have even tried to colour the blingies hanging from the chandeliers by hand - if I'd left it for Photoshop, I'd been able to make the background colour more smooth. Also, I made Krolock way less awesome than he really is. Sorry.
Tanz der Vampire is not mine. See the picture I used as a model at
[link]Will I do my homework tomorrow or will I just procrastinate again? Time will tell!
Can I just say how much I love their hair and expressions! The haaaaair... Also, his dressing gown. What i wouldn't give for a fabulous dressing gown like that! It must have just about made your hand fall off to draw it, though!
But hey, thanks so much! Yeah, the dressing gown was a bit of a challenge to draw...
I mean, I really like the dress Sarah is wearing i the musical but this drawn version is as great as the original. I especially like the way you did the folds. Same for Krolock's cloths.
Maybe I'll search for a few pictures...
You're welcome!
